       @tek @suetanvilI have heard stories of how "Toot" came into use, how it was a joke.But it stuck. Languages pick up words in all sorts of ways. What matters is whether a word endures. Jargon or slang or argot, it's a real word.

       @dlek @tek To me, it evokes the trumpeting of pachyderms, which is both thematic and also the kind of whimsical that would normally be quashed by a corporate marketing department.
