@lsn Hi Gabe, we are skimming over your brilliant work. One little tidbit you might like to know. It's https://libreboot.at and not #librebootOrg that accords to fully #FOSS boot firmware for ones device. The latter allows #proprietaryBlobs and we know they are bad.People are having to go to some pains to inform others about this, so don't feel bad that you didn't know.

…You might already know about this, but https://h-node.org is a project by the @fsf that helps people to identify #computers that they can use.It can be pretty tricky to find #hardware that is #ethical but by running a basic command and checking the peripherals listed by their Vendor and Product IDs (that look like "[3fc2:001b]") one can often quickly identify if a device will be suited to them, as #FreedomSoftware Enjoyers.@gabriel #hNode #ethicalHardware #computing #ethicalComputing

@dsfgs@activism.openworlds.info Ahh shoot, I was worried you were talking about the book. I've been meaning to revisit the hardware discussion entirely after digging deeper into it. I can't seem to find the .tex files I used to make the PDF... 😢

@gabriel You may be interested in exporting a PDF from Firefox-based browsers directly.Btw the https://netpolitik.org/ page (related to ChatControl in your book) is now gone (ie. Parking Crew). Its great to read. We will continue.

@dsfgs@activism.openworlds.info I appreciate the feedback! Iron sharpening iron and what not. You may be interested in exporting a PDF from Firefox-based browsers directly. This is a good reminder that I need to dedicate time to experimenting with @media print css queries.... I had meant to but it slipped my mind. In the long run, I'm wondering what would be the best (e-book ish) format to be readily read by text-to-speech, as I'm optimistic about FOSS models coming online.epub3 looks interesting, but it's a LOT of boilerplate!

@gabrielWe find that PDF is still most widely supported. Though maybe that will change soon.
