In episode 1591, circa 1:35:00 the boys talk about how the California legislature has saved us Californians from the radical green new deal agenda zero emissions vehicle mandate that was supposed to take effect in 2035.Who is stupid enough to think that internal combustion vehicles are still going to be PRODUCED in 2035?? Seriously - this is like someone in 1912 praising the end of an impending ban on horse and buggies set to take effect in 1930… EVs are a commercial inevitability.

@Jimblesbrimbles lol noThere are Tatas for 3000$ using 2L/100kmNo available EV has this kind of efficieny. Brazilians consider to build such cars too. All it takes is one other rogue bloc and imports of cars shift massively.

@Jimblesbrimbles It is not like that at all. Never mind that you math is off, the horse and buggy were never banned. The fact the governments feel the need to have mandates in order to cease the production of internal combustion vehicles hints that the market economies aren't what you're imagining they are.

@Jimblesbrimbles EV's can't scale that fast, the electric grid is already struggling even with the current load. In a free market it will never happen, only with mandates it might. You are more optimistic then me on my chances of even being still alive in 2035 🤠
