       i seen the kakuma refugee camp lgbt stuff popping up a lot on fedi and my gf says shes seen that shit so many times and thinks its a scam and i looked it up and people on reddit talk about receiving dms from random users asking to donate so it seems kind of scammydont donate to people unless you know the money is going to a good causehttps://old.reddit.com/r/lgbt/comments/wacwlw/regarding_kakuma_camp/https://old.reddit.com/r/Scams/comments/upyyh2/kakuma_refugee_camp/https://old.reddit.com/r/gaybros/comments/12pukzf/warning_the_kakuma_refugee_camp_scam_seems_to_be/i respect peoples desire to do mutual aid but i wouldnt donate unless theres like, details on it. the gofundme people are linking has no receipts.if im wrong im wrong, but it seems like this is a thing people have been taking advantage of to scam people for years, even if there are real ways to donate to people, scammers are taking advantage of them.
