       @paninid Fine, I'll give the details. I'm omitting names since I don't want to contribute to the drama.The BlueSky post involves claims regarding a certain well known account, specifically of them being a Republican and a transphobe. I can find zero evidence for the former claim and the latter claim is tenuous as well. Of course, since it's BlueSky none of the tweets talking about this give any links. And just as I was writing this I was given context by someone more in the loop than I am.  It appears that the first claim is bullshit and the second claim is as well.

       @paninid Oh it was bad even before now. Back in 2017 I nearly rage-quit Twitter altogether because of just how stupid the misinformation was there, and that wasn't even during election season. Ultimately I pivoted to Fediverse for a reason.
