Sometimes mild physical restraint to prevent them from hurting themself or others can be helpful to let them come back down from the emotional overcharge. Knives and things like that have no solution. It's best to stay away from the crazy ones.

Beatings aren't necessarily the answer. There is generally a mental way of approaching situations that's difficult to describe. Every relationship dynamic is different.One thing is certain... coddling men doesn't help them to develop the mindset required to manage a woman who allows her emotions get out of hand.
