@aliss It's even weirder that this is only true because IBM PC-DOS did this, and Microsoft MS-DOS chose to be compatible by default, with a switch in CONFIG.SYS to change it to Un*x like path sep and command switches that eventually got nuked as nobody used it. SO CLOSE... 🙃

@aliss @GNUxeava batch files work, registry paths are backslash on all supported platforms, APIs unsure which you mean all .NET file APIs support forward slash at least.
