       Now I'm wondering just how much "mishapen, outsized and over ripe" produce is being dumped, thus reducing the supply of fruit and veges in the market and keeping the price artificially high.Any political party got policy on preventing this wastage and market failure?@paw

I tend to buy my produce from organic shops and greengrocers, who aren't so fussy about how stuff looks, and will sell seconds (overripe etc) at a discount before binning them.@paw
