What is your naming convention for your notes?I’ve used <domain> - unique title. Yet, I realized lately that notes become more and more interdisciplinary and this is not working anymore. Any suggestion?#pkm #obsidan #writing

@joonhyeok_ahn For the Zettelkasten part of my vault (which is where I see naming conventions matter the most to me) I try to go with as descriptive names as possible. So no much of a convention at all, really. :)But I’ve found that file names that are full sentences summarizing the note makes things like the graph view and ExcaliBrain so much more useful.

@anders Yes, I found descriptive names better especially when I visit notes in farther future. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

@anders This is very important. I’ve had paper files for years, and whenever I put something in a file folder I think “what is the first thing I would call this” and that’s what went on the file folder. Presto: “Travel Vouchers - 2012.” Our brains work pretty well at naming things, and when that fails, there’s always search and tags.
