       the problem with rights is that its a certification of a line never to be crossed, even when inconvenient.this is why "it's an emergency guys" isn't an excuse. every shithell always claims whatever is an emergency.

       i mean sometimes that might even be true, but they always claim there is an emergency of some kind when that emergency is literally just "i want more power and you aren't letting me have it"

       @gabriel @icedquinn I dunno.Seems like currently the problem with rights is that many have forgotten rights come from natural law, and are not granted by governments. Because of this, when elected representatives violate others rights, they are "leaders dealing with an emergency" rather than criminals who must pay the price.
