The U.S. Government deserves everything that is going to happen to the dollar in the next few years. But the American people, in large part, do not. They've been lied to for decades.Which is why I hope the American people wake up, brush them aside like rotten grain to be burned, and start over.

What the obedient neo-libs dont realize yet is the monster they and their overlords have created in Ukraine. But they will soon see. Osama and Saddam have nothing on what is coming. And the CIA will be justified in more funding.

@ms Its not like dealing with a large corporation or data center. You email Mischa, he sets up your machine, you log in. Everything runs like clockwork. Youll be emailed when updates are happening. Low drama, high stability.

@gabrielThe threat that bitcoin now poses has nothing to do with the bitcoin pop culture on social media. That is a creation of the west. The recent bank collapses were the opening big gun salvo. But it did not go as planned, and they jumped the gun. When the smoke cleared, what was left was the rubble of the "crypto market" with bitcoin standing in the middle largely unscathed. I suspect Blackrock's recent move is a resulting strategy adjustment. The way they performed some of their trades looks like they were trying to take down one of the largest bitcoin only funds. The attempt failed. It made it rise. So expect salvo 3 soon.Fink told the truth when he was asked. He suggested that the increasing internationalization of bitcoin holdings has given it a certain resilience to market stresses. What he omitted is they are the ones trying to apply the stress. But from what I have seen this week, it may be too late. They may have to let the mask slip to resort to extreme measures.People, especially in the myopic west do not understand the widely distributed hold bitcoin now has in Central and South America, Africa, Russia, and in some parts of the west. There are economies that are entirely bitcoin centric now. These exist outside of the western social media bubble, which is not real life.Bitcoin has moved beyond the reach of the terrorist, black market, money laundering, and criminal propaganda weapons. Except for easily influenced neo-libs in the west who are inherently more propagandized than much of the rest of the world. The Globos options around Bitcoin are narrowing. They can try to make mining and transactions illegal across the world using a series of wide spread cyber attacks resulting in required ID to access the internet, or try to tie it heavily to the fiat systems they intend on collapsing. Blackrock's latest move resembles the latter.

@gabriel @xianc78 I spent 4 months chipping away at Facebook. I had been on there since 2007. I posted regular messages asking for people to connect with me on Mewe. Many of them did. But after about 6 months, the number of people who were still there dwindled down to like 3. They all went back to facebook. I just collected phone numbers from all the people I wanted to stay in contact with, and let it go.

@gabriel @db8f291dcf949373f5224070cbef4fab80b9a8d3434246aca1fe34114cc51dd0 I think you have some idea of how serious I am about this stuff. I don't really reveal how much.I am operating under the assumption that everything in the old system is doomed. All of it. The whole thing is going to collapse. It is collapsing. And there are two paths leading out...a populist reformation, and the Beast. This time, right now, is for people who recognize this, to begin taking drastic actions to prepare replacements. To build parallel systems. For me, in the trade realm, that looks like making contacts with small business owners, farmers markets, etc, and talking to them about alternative currencies.Im not playing games here. I dont talk about everything Im doing, because I dont want it on the internet. As of today, the only digital currency that has any real world operating use cases in this kind of situation, is bitcoin.Everything else is either luxury hobby money for first world internet nerds, or 'crypto' scams for people who like to attend conferences at airport hotels.Bitcoin is actively being used right now, by significant numbers of people in Central and South America, Africa, and increasingly in Asia. To escape inflation, to buy food. Were talking about villages that now operate primarily in bitcoin. What that means, is that replacement tech exists. My focus here is based on the belief that fiat collapse is the primary weapon which will be used to funnel everyone into the Beast financial system. And I have already determined, and made peace with the fact, that I am willing to go out fighting their plans at the root leverage points... information, trade, food, shelter, power, health, defense. My whole life is being directed this way. Expand the Kingdom in joy, as an act of war. And Im going to have fun while I do it. Because.. F them, and joy is my inheritance.Bitcoin is a real tool which can help. It does not provide salvation. Its only a tool. It is GOING to be attacked. May even be taken down. But make them do it, to show even more people who they are.

For the first time in a long time, I went on someone elses computer to search for something, and realized just how different my computer experience is than theirs.Theirs is Apple, Google, Facebook, Tictok, Hulu, Netflix.Mine is OpenBSD, the command line, Fediverse, Nostr, Gopher, Gemini, RSS, and web searches through my own searx instance. It just kinda freaked me out how different the two worlds are.

@gabriel @icedquinn I dunno.Seems like currently the problem with rights is that many have forgotten rights come from natural law, and are not granted by governments. Because of this, when elected representatives violate others rights, they are "leaders dealing with an emergency" rather than criminals who must pay the price.

ive been working on a personal notes system which replaces some of Obsidian's functions just using posix shell, and some userland tools. what ive got so far:alt-n in the terminal opens a fuzzy finder for note titles.cntl-r in finder switches to ripgrep to search note contents.enter opens in neatvi.while editing, meta-alt-r opens ripgrep search in dmenu, selection basename is piped to clipboard with [[double bracket]] enclosed links, which can be pasted in the editor, and followed with 'gf'.i can search for note names, or note contents, and search for phrases in other notes while editing, and insert relevant links. just fzf, dmenu, ripgrep, and a couple of posix scripts are used.
