@polarisera @ninapaley And I love the fact that it's 50 feet above sea level and 50 miles from the sea. And most of it is paved, which people warned about decades ago. (Paved land does not absorb water.)

@ninapaley I've been in both cities.It depends on what you want out of Halloween.- for haunted houses - pretty much equal - though Denver still has Elitch Gardens & Houston doesn't have Astroworld any more.- it has snowed in Denver on Halloween, it has been HOT in Houston on Halloween. Makes a big difference in costumes for the kids.- for parties, I expect it depends more on who you are with than the location.
