Second time in a few days that someone on Mastodon replies to me with attacks, contempt or outrage after just a couple posts, and then blocks me.I am guilty of replying to their posts uninvited (isn’t that what all this is for?), but in all cases my comments were good-intentioned questions or opinions, not ad-hominem or hate.My ideas may be wrong, but I expressed myself well within the norms of respect and civility, and I did mean well.What’s happening? Is intolerance and divisiveness creeping in to #Mastodon too?

@tripuYou're responsible for what you put, not how they perceive it. 😁 You'll never get along with everyone, I've been blocked already because I gave my own view on their post, which they didn't agree with.

@tripu happens all the time to all of usI think it is called "thin skinned" or "snowflake"but it is always possible that a post, however well written , is mis interpreted

@tripu I wonder if it's because so many have come from #DeadBird who still have the same attitude regarding someone whom they disagree. Even though that was the reason many have left there in the first place.

@tripu Their argument is probably more that pure capitalism fails in those cases, therefore their protest about how these people still have some value.And I think someone complaining about capitalism probably wants to do so unimpeded.

@gasullI understand that. But it always saddens me to just close the door (or having the door slammed on me) so early into a conversation about something that interests me, or when I think the other person is missing something important…

I am guilty of injecting them with RNA uninvited (isn't that what all this DNA is for?), but in all cases my vacuoles contained good-intentioned adaptations or mutations, not viruses or junk code. My chemical signals may be wrong, but I expressed my genes well within the norms of homeostasis and immunity, and I did mean well. What's happening? Is intolerance and divisiveness creeping in to my body too? I am a white blood cell living in a human who grew up in an overly sterile environment and thereby picked up an autoimmune disorder
