       @stux @rbreich I truly don't understand why people go there. And I don't just mean in terms of boycotts, because it's impossible to boycott everything. But their coffee is neither cheap nor especially good. And on top of that, it seems like one of the easiest things to replace if a person does decide it's boycott-worthy.

       @stux @rbreich they are just like every other large corporate entity when faced with union efforts -- when i was at Amazon (when it was a whole lot smaller) did a lot of the same crap

       @stux @rbreich My town is at the center of a lot of this after closing all the stores after they unionized. While for me I haven’t gotten coffee from them in years (we have several wonderful local roasters), I feel terrible for the employees impacted by simple corporate greed, and desire to exert complete control over their employees.

       @stux @rbreich -Coffee that only tastes consistent because they buy the cheapest beans they can get (because nobody else will touch them) and then roast (read:burn) them all to an equal level of charred.
