@SlicerDicer the problem with those who still don’t see the problem isn’t information or being unable to comprehend that info. It’s due to lack of interest. Disinformation and the amount of that plays a role too, but IMHO mostly as an amplification factor.😞

@RecoveredExpert @SlicerDicer Well how do you get taken seriously? When there’s so much disinformation? There this is systemic. It’s been a problem for a while. What makes my things real? How do you know? What would make you take a word I say serious? Is it the fact I have shed loads of images that are not watermarked? That I’d be sued into oblivion if they were not mine? I dunno what makes anything real? Complicated.

Well the coral did recover, but the glaring point missing is the biodiversity loss. That it alters the ecosystem permanently. If you cut down all the trees? You may not like what comes in its place.

@SlicerDicer @RecoveredExpert I don't have the bandwidth for this one today, and I think neither of us is likely to walk away with a different perspective anyway, but my point was simply that assuming people who have different opinions think the way they do because they lack interest or don't care (or worse are too stupid to care or understand) is a bad way to try and convince anyone that you are right. It is a good virtue signal though.

@thatguyoverthere @SlicerDicer @RecoveredExpert The only perspective I can add? Marketing and sales gets 4% bed tax that pushes the narrative. That’s who controls what the keys look like. There is no transparency into their books that are funded by tax. Science gets what they can beg for that is 100% transparent where it came from and what they do. Check their financials. I have they get 100k here, 20k there. Meanwhile TDC gets like 40m. Might want to consider this too?
