       @aral I get those all the time and I don’t run an ad blocker. I run a tracker blocker, which they “confuse” with an ad blocker. Tells me what they’re really concerned with.

       @donw THIS.If ads were served without trackers, I would gladly accept them into my content viewing habits - within reason, of course. I'm not gonna spend my bandwidth and time on a five-min video ad before a 1 min clip/read.But ads with trackers? Nope, absolutely not happening.@aral

       @aral The only reason to detect an ad-blocker is to warn the site visitor if it's missing.https://wordpress.org/plugins/detect-missing-adblocker/(Note that the plugin doesn't work too well right now, the ad-blocker detection started to get pretty unreliable. Maybe it's time to look at this again.)
