       @stux@mstdn.social @Jain@blob.cat I replied to a bunch of folks who ask "how to use this app" questions. Most seem to make one post, follow one or two people and then never come back.I wonder if for new comers who don't follow anyone yet, getting local or global as the default feed would be more helpful. At least until they follow 10-20 people to populate their feed.

       @tchambers@indieweb.social pretty much what I thought. I don't think two degrees of separation is even feasible unless the instance admins are adamant about losing their entire community. Most fedi instances can't even maintain a critical minimum of activity to stay alive. They would become private message boards essentially.
