Is it possible to clean up old remote posts from the database, which haven't been interacted with by anyone on my instance?@helpers

@anders there are various similar settings, but it's my belief that the ones that do what you ask are the "Clean database" checkbox under "Admin>Site>Performance" and the two lifespans underneath that.

ah yes i have it enabled. maybe i need to lower the value to see the effect, database seems growing and growing but could be due to the increased volume of posts and users on Lemmy.do you know if it affects existing posts if i lower the value?

The posts aren't using that much space. Please have got a look at your database to see which tables are the biggest ones.
