       Since I do love modems, and it's #modemmonday I'll share one of my favourite chonks of a modem. A US Robotics Courier Dual-Standard 14.4k modem, in the original extra large case (not be be confused with the later Courier V.everythings and such). I've got a 56k Sportser on top for scale. It's a big modem and one of the few I have the original manual for.

       @ChartreuseK these were the absolute best.  solid as a rock.  not shoehorning at-command-sets for hours to force re-training was great.
