@art Honestly the best response is shut up and don't talk about it and fix the problem, there's nothing that Linus could say that will get people to agree with him. Just look at the current video pipeline and put out better content

@BrodieOnLinux I have a hard time when he pro-unions, but not in his own company. Unions doesn't mean you are a bad boss. It's just a defense mechanism for the workers is something goes wrong. And you can't just support something when it doesn't to you, but not when it applies to you, oppose it.

@BrodieOnLinux got exhausted from LTT a year or so ago so was already filtering out a lot of videos from them. Especially imo useless Short Circuit. They were gaming youtube for a long time, but now it hits back with errors piling up and internal miscommunications as a norm. I'm not surprisedWhat was unexpected is Noctua misrepresentation and the labs, created to supply the most accurate data, being wildly inaccurate. Ironic

@BrodieOnLinux What we need is very simple: An additional layer of reviewing. That is, an additional YouTube channel to review tech YouTube channels. If that additional channel f*cks up, then we need a further layer of review. Just keep adding review layers.

@BrodieOnLinux Oh wow, this is just crazy! I knew that they frequently say inaccurate things in their videos and that they basically don't take the time that a topic deserves. But I wasn't aware that it is that bad and that their responses to that criticism even borders on malice the way it does.

@BrodieOnLinux Yeah, I remember when they recommended people to basically disable all security on their windows installation. I think you made a video about that.Especially their offhand comment comparing that "solution" to just installing (an up to date, secure) Linux rubbed me the wrong way.

@BrodieOnLinux I've seen it, the most interesting thing is that I (and probably everyone) have always known about the inaccuracy issues without realizing how much of a problem it is for all (including LTT) and only watching the channel for entertainmentI also believe that some people are misrepresenting the sale of the cooling block and talking about it as if LTT intentionally decided steal the block out of greed rather than just extreme negligence (which is a HUGE problem but not a crime)
