       I'm in the market for a new 15" Linux laptop. I currently have a Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen 2 with 16GB ram, a 1660 graphics card, and 512 GB storage. I'm fine with onboard graphics (Optimus has been a nightmare on my current laptop, and I don't do anything graphically intensive). I want at least 6 CPU cores, 32GB ram, and a terabyte of storage. Does anyone have suggestions?#askfedi #linux #laptop

       @jwp @maxgot honestly I haven't looked too closely at the AMD Ryzen options. do they provide more value for money, or better gaming performance, or something else?
