So how's the cool week going?31.12 Stood outside for ~15 min at -22°C watching NYE fireworks in the neighborhood. I was surprised that my #Pixel7a didn't freeze up and reboot.01.01 Experienced -28°C for a few minutes on our way back to Tampere, shuffling between cars and trains with luggages. The 6-degree difference felt a lot colder.02.01 Changed my #AmazfitGTS3 watchface to one that shows temperature instead of step count coz it's only like 18 steps between my bed and desk...

While there are still delays from time to time, the Finnish train system is pretty good in general, compared to some other countries. Comfortable, clean, reasonably priced (if you purchase in advance). Plus you can select/change your seats which are included in the price. After some frustrating experiences in Austria this year I've come to appreciate VR more.#yearonrails #traintravel

@anushka oh nice! I'm lucky to live in a place where we get to hear and play Sibelius quite often :)This season we're also playing the Bassoon concerto in F by Weber, oh I love those low registers the bassoon can reach and how it sounds ❤️
