       @grammargirl A barking dog is a curse. One of mine wanted to be a barker, but I’ve worked on her enough that she’s more like a normal dog — she barks when there’s something worth barking at. Her sister is the opposite; when she barks, it’s something serious.I hope your neighbor’s is short term.
