@fitheach This is the sort of conversational river that has many hidden logs under the surface, waiting to snag the unwary. For one thing, you're dealing with the fact that defending your decision *not* to be used by FB is (consciously or unconsciously) threatening to their sense that its ok to keep doing so. Especially given that, in their heart of hearts, most people know they'd be best not to, but feel stuck.

@strypey "Where can I get catfished?" like it's the new trend everyone wants in on. 😆 Another warning sign - they have to travel a lot for an interesting job. One attempted catfish said she was a sculptor who was working on "a lucrative contract," in Iowa. Two days later, she was asking me for money.

@strypey Yeah, I'd agree with that hypothesis.However, as almost everyone of their acquintance uses FB the abnormal are us. Their decision is rationalised due to weight of numbers.
