       Good news: few migrants are crossing the river where the buoys are located: There's only 1,000 ft of buoys, ~one city block. Ppl aren't going over or under them—they're going around them -idea that we're opposing them bc they "work" is RW fantasy fiction. Smugglers haven't bothered figuring out an easy way over the buoys bc it's just not worth it; you can walk a few minutes over & cross there -If they installed multiple miles of the barriers, smugglers would figure out a way -A Reichlin-Melnick

       @KimPerales I’d like to encourage others to volunteer to help the asylum seekers in your area. Contact your local government to expedite work permits. Ask the agencies/departments supporting them, if they need help. I’ve been involved in a couple groups that reached out and it feels good/important to let the migrants know they are welcome.
