       Don't use the #NewYorkTimes app; it shows advertisements even if you pay for  a subscription. Use #Firefox with uBlock Origin. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/ublock-origin/

       @baltakatei this is the main reason I don’t subscribe to any of these news apps. If I’m paying, I don’t want the screen cluttered with ads. Feels like they are double dipping.
