@EU_Commission hmmm.. ā€œzero toleranceā€ never actually works. I worry that undermines this. Of course no one should be having any sort of alcoholic drink then driving, but given many other foods and drinks can trigger a non-zero reading on a breath test how will this be realistically implemented? If there is an accepted level in breath test the it’s not ā€œzero toleranceā€, meaning your pitch here is a little misleading.

@EU_Commission "European Commission proposes updated requirements for driving licences and better cross-border enforcement of road traffic rules":... why micro-mobility?

@EU_Commission The primary danger on our roads is caused by cars. If you want to reduce danger then you must reduce the number of cars, but none of what you've stated above has that aim. What will you do to reduce the number of cars ?

(By Not Just Bikes) It is about micro mobilty basically.Micro mobility has its advantages but I doubt that it alone will solve the problem that is the car.The Urbanist Agenda: The Big Problem with Small Vehicles (with Alan Fisher)Episode webpage: https://art19.com/shows/the-urbanist-agendaMedia file: https://rss.art19.com/episodes/2cca7a51-4533-47f1-98df-fb351d2cb1c9.mp3?rss_browser=BAhJIg9BbnRlbm5hUG9kBjoGRVQ%3D--bba5bdd77df5f5806138bf3e7d4615ea7f8e6a75

@EU_Commission This will contribute exactly nothing for zero deaths on the road.ā€œAccidentsā€ are prevented by buildings systems that reduce error-proneness and the consequences of an error that makes through all layers of safety.Blaming humans for erring and trying to legislate human error out of humans has never worked and is a distraction from politicians who are unable to replace a polluting, dangerous mobility system (driving) by a safer and cleaner one (transit).

@EU_Commission> Finally, the permitted mass of a ā€˜B' category vehicle will be adjusted for alternatively fuelled vehicles, since battery-carrying zero-emission vehicles can be heavier.Yes, I'm sure traffic safety will benefit massively from allowing tanks that weigh 3.5 tons when empty and can accelerate 0 to 100 in 2.9 seconds. Great job!Looks like a crackdown on lobbying is in order.
