       @joelanmanBritish Gas has 12 million customers.That's a profit of £80 per customer.Some of whom are large businesses - who probably make up the bulk of that profit.Ofgem's profit cap for domestic supplies is 1.9%. So even if they were a nonprofit, domestic bills would only fall by about £40.
