       Swamp Turtle vs Filamentous Algae! Who shall win? Probably the Algae. It’s a very simple #robot with just an #arduino, H-bridge, solar panel and two motors. Construction and software took about 2 hours. I’m hoping it chops up the algae a bit so the fish can see what the Sun looks like ;)

       Swamp Turtle showed promise roaming the pond and breaking up the algae, but there were numerous issues, as expected. I’m taking it apart to build version-2. In my experience it is always better to go #UglyEarly in a design-analysis cycle (not in bars). #Fail is the learning elixir designers seek. So here we go….#robot #arduino

       Swamp Turtle-2 is up and running! Improvements include a lipo battery with balancer, analog bus voltage monitoring, higher torque motors and a more stable platform. I already see some code changes I need to make 😵Will it wake up tomorrow? We shall see. #robot #arduino
