       @oblomov @ariadne Nope, it's not just Pawoo. They actually implemented the backend for the PhotoDNA API, since there's a *fairly* large company behind them.The issue is that PhotoDNA, while free to "qualified developers" isn't an open API and is run by The Evil Company That FOSS Hates, Microsoft. This means it'll never get widespread adoption.

       @oblomov @ariadne The fact that it's not an open, "come and get yer API key for free" service means that you're fucked either way.Without MSFT handing out the API keys freely, there is not other comparable tool.
