I like @matrix a lot, but one main feature preventing me from transitioning to it completely as a Discord alternative:I love that Discord features multiple notification 'levels': a small red dot for rooms that have new messages, and a large red dot for when you're mentioned or replied to.On Matrix, unless I'm mistaken, there's no way to know when you've been mentioned unless you disable notifications for other new messages. It's a deal-breaker. Is there a way around this?

@vencabot By default, rooms in Matrix have 3 notification types: unread, missed notif, and missed mention. For instance, in Element Web, unread notif = a grey dot to the right of the room name; missed notif = grey badge count; missed mention = red badge. You can configure the thresholds for what triggers a notif in settings per room.

@matrix Oh wow, this is perfect!! I just misunderstood @element's settings, since it just refers to everything as a 'Notification'. I had 'Notifications' turned on for everything, since I thought that, if I didn't, there'd be no way to tell when I was mentioned or when rooms had new messages.Thank you!
