Just out of curiosity, has anyone gotten their "RoTATE" Nintendo switch stand yet? It's been quite a while since I've even seen an update on Kickstarter (June, I think).#roTATE #kickstarter

@48kRAM @paradroyd I'm not trying to stir the pot or anything, but I haven't seen a single person or YouTube video of anyone with one yet. I've been getting the updates that SOMEONE has gotten one but I haven't seen anything confirming that. I'm waiting too. I hope it happens soon. I barely use my Switch anymore.

@duhproject @48kRAM No, but I haven't looked that hard either. I figured I'd just ask here, because it seems if anyone had gotten one, someone here should have first-hand knowledge of it.Like you, I don't really use my Switch that much any more since getting the Steamdeck, and more recently the Pocket.The switch has become something I take along when I want to take -something- and I don't want to risk something happening to the Steamdeck or Pocket.

@paradroyd @duhproject @48kRAM Looked into this and all the signs show Todd Gill has overcommitted himself on the project.Backer #22 (John Bradshaw) still hasn't got their unit as stated on July 19, 2023. @ne1for23 Thanks for checking into this.I suspected that this was the case.To be honest I seldom support Kickstarters at all, because in my experience, they usually wind up shipping years late if at all. I never get in on them unless it's something that I think I can cut losses on without taking a big it (as is the case here).It's a bit disappointing, but not really a big deal to me.It's got to be stressful as hell running a thing like this. I'd never attempt to do it.

@ne1for23 At the end of the day, I still wouldn't hesitate to buy Todd's (non-Kickstarter) stuff. I've bought a lot of MiSTer accessories and a few other things from him over the past few years and never had any problems there. He was always good to deal with.
