       Any @pixelfed #pixelfed users keen to give me a review of the experience please? I'm on Mastodon but am also studying #Photography. #Instagram has become a mash of my family and my #portraits but I'm thinking I might use the Pixelfed to share my #fineart photos? You know, I should keep the two worlds separate.Is it common to have two accounts on the #fediverse ... Thanks.📸📸📸

       @jkerrison Yeah many people have multiple accounts ... But I think the latest release you can login with you mastodon account. I had my own instance but I deleted it and use my blog if I have some pictures I want to put online. But, it's a great alternative to Instagram, especially if you set up one instance for your friends/family

       @hyde I've signed up to @pixelfed AU with a new account and so far so good. I can see that federation shows my Masto profile as a Pixel profile anyway?! It's able to filter by photo posts. That's cool. I'll save that URL too... All a bit confusing. #PixelFed #photography

       @jkerrison I think you should be able to use you mastodon account with #pixelfed  soon without the need to create a specufic account there but maybe I misunderstood ...@pixelfed

       It's common to have multiple accounts (sometimes min 3) and it'll depend on what you are after. If you simply want to display photos in a portfolio style layout then pixelfed is what you want. You can use Mastodon for photos as well but the layout is more for microblogging
