@seachanger @maria This whole thread has been so important. I was a reporter for a decade so I know its flaws... but ethical and transparent #journalism remains so crucial to a free and safe society. #Mastodon is only starting to make sense to me. It's a steep learning curve but when you get it, wow you GET it. I really want the fediverse to thrive and survive-- and that means a greater variety of voices.Great discussion. #thankyou

Any @pixelfed #pixelfed users keen to give me a review of the experience please? I'm on Mastodon but am also studying #Photography. #Instagram has become a mash of my family and my #portraits but I'm thinking I might use the Pixelfed to share my #fineart photos? @hyde I've signed up to @pixelfed AU with a new account and so far so good. I can see that federation shows my Masto profile as a Pixel profile anyway?! It's able to filter by photo posts. That's cool. I'll save that URL too... All a bit confusing. #PixelFed #photography
