       @purplehex @geerlingguy Note I have a CoI as I am a director at AlmaLinux. However, I sense that the creative tension that made Red Hat both popular and successful was disturbed or broken by recent HR actions and this incident is a result of the imbalance running wild for a while. The same effect has been visible in other projects; I recall seeing it in MySQL after Sun acquired it, for example.

       @ariadne @almalinux I was only trying to explain why we have policies about CVEs in place because I am directly affected by them. I can understand what you say. Even if you don’t agree, I hope you have a better understanding of how we work. I would really love to see a successful collaboration but sometimes starts are more difficult than expected (don’t give up, Alma Linux!).

       @rvr @ariadne @almalinux It’s expectations of Centos Stream and “not the way we work”.   Centos stream was proposed to be a way for the community to get directly involved and when they do the response is: “well we only have time for customers” which is the opposite than what has been sold.It feels like the entire drama and messaging of RedHat over the last couple of years has been based on a false narrative and undermines any remaining trust.
