@sj_zero @stux yeah exactly I've done 100s parachute jumps. Never once did I look out and think 'whoa high' though I do get that looking off the edge of a cliff.

@stux oh wow! These people - the explorers, the ones who take chances to better the world - are the heroes. I often ponder if the handful of humans up there at any time are the ones saving our civilization and humanity for the future while we boil and stew and kill and fight over imaginary borders down here 😟

@stux that just gave me a dark thought, and knowing NASA I am sure they have redundancy plans in place for this. But what happens if a nuclear war breaks out while astronauts are in space? Like planet extinction event?
