       OK, strap yourselves into the time machine and make yourselves comfortable.  Today we're going to the 12th century.  (Yes, again.  I like the 12th century.)This is just one detail from an astonishing triptych in the V&A.  All I can say is someone must have had an amazingly steady hand.
