       Something I've left unsaid on here until now is that I, among many other things, am trans.I was always worried that I'd go through all this effort to transition only to be placed in a separate box anyway. But it turns out that box is full of all the best people so joke's on me :meow_trans:But please read the reply for the main purpose of this post...

       I have a reason for coming out now. I was denied insurance coverage for surgery on the grounds of an exclusion for "sex transformation", and was told by multiple people there's basically no way to fight it.But I ultimately won and got it paid for, and want the information available to anyone who might run into this problem so you know you're not out of luck.I've created this document with everything I gathered to get my surgery covered.
