       Dear Lazyweb,What's the current state in free/open source audio editors? I recall Audacity was on the nose for phone-homes and data leaks; what's the go-to now?

       @PCOWandre I think that died down. There is the last standing fork from that time, Tenacity: https://codeberg.org/tenacityteam/tenacity but I'm not sure how much love that is seeing.

       @Tubsta @PCOWandre I concur, Audacity seemed to have backed off on the telemetry so I'm still using it.With Tenacity there as a fall back though I never installed it as my Linux distro didn't have one of the "bad" Audacity versions.
