Thinking more seriously about making my first real case and how to power it, it's always so funny the RT-65B is the go-to solution for eurorack. 5A on the +5V rack, only 2.8A on the +12V, 0.5A on -12V. whatcha gonna do with so much juice on +5V??Anyway i'm building mine without +5V. It's mostly DIY so I can easily adapt plans that expect a +5V rail, or i can simply make little adapter boards with regulators as-needed. So I'll probably go with a pair of single rail supplies instead.Every single resource reminds me I am legally required to hire an expert for €295/hour to wire stuff to the mains because my untrained ass cannot do it safely lol

@woof someone really needs to come up with a properly designed power supply for eurorack. last time I checked basically every single option was Severely Deficient except for Genus Modu's Low Impedance Bus Board. I never did find an ideal power supply

@atomicthumbs yeah I'm not hugely concerned having a super clean supply i just want it to be somewhat in tune. Having enough juice + mains safety are the priority here. Planning to use my own janky ass busboard pcbs lol

@woof when i was looking into eurorack, before i realized my ideal system would cost several times what my car did, i liked trying to figure out parts that seemed Correctly Engineered. the busboard was one

Also been considering various arrangements so I can do it in two parts and haul it by car safely
