       @twizzay when our daughter was born, the next summer we put her down for a nap in a pram in a corner of our small yard and a few times then started mowing the lawn. Back then we still had a petrol lawnmower. We got a few laughs out of her ability to sleep in noise. Yes, she has normal hearing, except when inattentive listening 😅

       @jiinissi The generator was annoying because the guy kept turning it on and off and using some kind of other took with it which was also noisy. I was worried it would wake her up but, instead it just annoyed the heck out of me. She managed to stay asleep. 😌

       @twizzay in Finland we have this "different" way of getting babies to sleep... Road noise -> baby sleeps outside. Construction site next door -> baby sleeps outside. -20°C weather -> baby sleeps outside.Heat wave and wolves are the two exceptions to the rule I can think of off the top of my head. 😅

       @twizzay it's just a matter of proper clothing and closing the opening with a thin cloth. The prams actually come here with extra insulating cover and there's the option of really warm sleeping bags.Kids sleep better in fresh air, science says. 😅
