@simon My fear is that coders will be so impressed with the way these LLMs respond to questions about code that they will trust them to answer questions about human rights, history, health, etc.

@JMMaok my hunch right now is that the more time people spend with an LLM the better they get at intuiting what kind of questions it's likely to get right and what sort of things it shouldn't be used for

@simon Some of that will surely happen. But we know it is hard to dislodge people from sources that tell them what they want to hear. The history of people googling ‘Why are women ____’ and similar is not encouraging.
