       I think I need to buy a #monitor that’s wider than my #laptop’s #screen. It needs to be an at-least-wide-*ish* screen, as I’m using a standing desk convertor that doesn’t have sufficient footprint to support 2 separate monitor stands.I’ve never used an #UltraWide or #curved screen before - anyone got any 1st-hand model or brand #recommendations? #TechRecommendation #recommendation #VDU

       @jonathanmatthews Your logic is predicated on the need for a single stand; I think you can get metalwork that mounts two VESA mounted monitors with one base.

       @penguin42 Very true, but I omitted to mention that I’m also weight-limited by my standing desk convertor’s max capacity, at ~10kg. I /suspect/ a single wide-ish monitor will work better, pound for pound, than 2 …
