@brewsterkahle One of the funniest periodical titles that I ran across decades ago as a student assistant in the serials department (at the Univ. of Kansas) was "Concrete Abstracts."

@brewsterkahle I'm reminded of the cover of Kate Bush's album Aerial. It has an image evocative of a mountain range being reflected in a still body of water - but is actually a waveform. Typical of her impish sense of humor, it was a challenge to her fans to figure out what this waveform was. Turns out, it was birdsong.
