It doesn't matter who taught you what or where you learned what you know. What matters is what you do with that knowledge and expertise yourself, and who you decide to share that knowledge and expertise with.

Regularly seeing Western chauvinists throw shade on African or Asian accomplishments or endeavors with rhetoric such as: "we did it first" or "we taught them how to do that". It doesn't matter. It's completely irrelevant if you've done something before or taught someone how to do a thing---it does nothing to detract from the accomplishment of performing a task or earning an achievement, in a repeatable way, on one's own, without any further guidance or assistance.

@adiz "we taught them how to do that"We learned how to do that in spite of your colonialism and continuing efforts to suppress and destroy us.
