Little warning for people who want to move because of the Meta decision:It is still not clear with what instances Threads will federate so moeving to an instance that doesn't block them is NOT a garantuee you can federate with them ⚠️ You can only move followers once every 30 days so make a careful decision

@stux het is wel opvallend hoe heftig sommige mensen ook reageren als je zelfs maar overweegt te blokkeren . Ik heb zelfs al iemand zien vertrekken naar een eigen instance omdat zijn huidige aankondigde te *overwegen* te blokken en om feedback vroeg. 🤦🏼♂️Ik vraag me af hoe en waarom je dan in eerste instantie überhaupt in de Fediverse terecht bent gekomen?

@stux @MBNashTN ok, but I think it's all about the app (not allowed)? or is it the domain that will be banned from the EU. because if the same privacy policy is applied by Instagram (and it's allowed) sooner or later that will happen for this other new thing 🤷🏻♂️

@stux For the time being we are safe from #Meta federating because they won't have the #ActivityPub implementation ready in time for the announcement tomorrow.
