       Paying for services is important, but why in the hell would anybody pay $99/year for email? Let alone $999/year.The internet was a mistake.

       @justinz I'm under the impression Purism has to charge more for their phones because it's all "ethically sourced", or am I wrong about that?Still.. $2199, crazy.. especially compared to a pinephone (or even the pinephone pro).

       @pavot you may be right on that, but I don't think many people's ethics extend as far as $2,199. For $200 I can get a second hand OnePlus6 which has better hardware. I find that still ethical as it's keeping things out of landfill and a lot easier on my budget.

       @flab But it gets better, if you want to use your own custom domain, that's gonna cost you $144/year instead of the $99 (domain not included).How much is your domain if you don't mind me asking? $80 is a bit more than I'd pay, but not bad when you include the domain.
