       4.) Content warnings are a thing here. If you post rants, suggestive content, or just content you think others may not want to see, please use content warnings!5.) Use the Local and Federated timelines to see more posts! Local shows folks who are on the same instance as you, while Federated shows a mix of everything.6.) The instance you are on doesn't matter too terribly much, as each has their own set of rules/guidelines. But you can still follow/reply to people on other instances!

       10.) When adding images, please try to add alt text for blind or vision-impaired people. Basically, just write a brief description of what's in the image (for example: "Cute fursuiter standing by a river with his arms extended to the viewer in a cute pose."). These alt texts allow blind or vision-impaired people to know what is going on in the image due to screen readers!11.) There is no algorithm here. So please boost posts if you want your followers to see them! Boosting helps a lot!
