#Firefox's multi-accounts containers functionality is only useful if you have to switch between multiple accounts for services that don't support working with multiple accounts (e.g., AWS, but not Gmail). The feature is useless when it comes to privacy, and yet it's mentioned as one of the top reasons to use Firefox. To get the same effect, you only need to "block 3rd party cookies." It would be useful if those containers disallowed access to extensions, but ALAS, they don't.

@alexelcu I'm glad Multi-Account Containers don't. I selected extensions to be used, not denied to me. I want to be able to simultaneously log into two different Amazon accounts in two different tabs, that's all. I'm not using MACs for privacy.

@alexelcu What about if you use Gmail but don't want to be logged in to Google at all for search?
