#Russia hit on cafe in #Kramatorsk #Ukraine yesterday killed 8 and wounded 60 people. Three children among those killed. The place was a popular meeting point among locals, also visited by foreign journalists staying in the town.Russian propagandist Solovyev immediately claimed it was a hit against "a meeting of Ukraine armed forces" but on the video made immediately after the explosion only civilians can be seen among casualties, including a mother with a toddler. Likely purpose of the attack was terror against civilians which Russian "political technologists" consider a routine method of discounting Ukraine's advancements on the front.

#Russia propaganda now into full "firehose of lies" mode throwing dozens of contradictory stories explaining the rocket attack on #Kramatorsk for Russian audience. It's like a Swedish buffet: those who want the feeling of revenge will find it in the very news of the strike, those inclined to feel compassion against civilian casual will find absolution. Readovka claims it was "a malfunction of Storm Shadow", others post random photos of people in uniform in the restaurant, implying that even presence of a single soldier in any place makes it a "legitimate target". Another channel uses a week old photo posted by some less perceptive Ukrainian volunteer of some foreign military instructors or volunteers on a railway platform with clear reference to Kramatorsk.Someone also pointed some tatoo on an arm of a man helping a casualty of the strike, and also that abother man speaks English. But presence of a person in a military uniform in the restaurant, or speaking English, does not make it a "legitimate target". The best way to explain it to Russians is to ask if, by their logic, presence of a single Russian soldier in Donetsk center justified an artillery barrage on the town (it doesn't). Regardless of Russian justifications for this war crime, let's hope this case will also serve a lesson for all those people for whom the war is a great opportunity to post cool geolocated pictures on Instagram... Russians do and will use your moments of fame even weeks after you post it.

@kravietz Terrorist State Russia only want to commit genocide inside Ukraine 🇺🇦 Russia is all the time lying about attacks on invented military infrastructure 🤷🏻♀️Because the Russians see that they performing extremely poor from military point of view they focus now just on terror, genocide, rape, murder and total destruction of civilians and civilian infrastructure 😡The #US and #Europe should give #Ukraine 🇺🇦 powerful long range missiles and fighter jets 🤷🏻♀️#UkraineInsideNato

@kravietz The place was apparently popular with foreign humanitarian volunteers. Merely being a westerner does not make one a legitimate target.
